Obscurant Visions is proud to present "I:Katabasis" the debut album of Ultima on vinyl.

The debut full-length album from this new project by the Spanish ghoul known as D.B., the mind behind acclaimed acts such as Hässlig, Negativa, and Délirant.

This release also marks the beginning of a trilogy. Across 32 minutes, a dense maelstrom of cold riffing and infernal atmospheres unfolds, depicting a calculated descent into the Stygian depths of the mind, where doubt, pain, and torment reside. Strongly inspired by projects of the mighty Blazebirth Hall, Sanguine Eagle, and others, Ultima’s tracks revolve around droning, hypnotic riffs, complemented by moments of more oblique dissonance that evoke the dissociation between mind and reality.
